Devanney excels as St Clare's claim Connacht title

St Clare’s from Manorhamilton claimed the Connacht U16 C title yesterday.

They came from four points down to defeat Sligo’s Ursuline College in yesterday’s final at Kent Park by 10-11 to 7-7.

Muireann Devaney scored 8-5 for the Leitrim school, and this weekend will be part of the Republic of Ireland U15 girls team for their international friendly game away to Englabd.
