Maxi Curran's Donegal have made a winning start to their Lidl national football league Division 1A campaign following Saturday night's 0-10 to 0-7 win against Galway in Ballybofey.
Geraldine McLoughlin scored 0-7 and saw a first-half penalty saved - but the home side were still deserving winners by the finish.

Donegal travel to Westmeath next weekend.
Donegal are in a four-team group along with Galway, Mayo and Westmeath.
