A club footballer in Donegal has been given a 36-week ban following an incident in a club championship game last month.
The Naomh Padraig, Lifford player was sanctioned after it was alleged that he had to be restrained as he tried to make physical contact with a referee.
Donegal GAA’s Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) considered the report of match referee Eugene McHale following a Senior C Championship game between Lifford and MacCumhaills.
The sanction being imposed is 36 weeks.
