Donegal edge Sligo in All-Ireland Masters Championship

Donegal scored a narrow 0-12 to 0-9 victory over Sligo in Wednesday evening's All-Ireland football masters championship game played at Gerald Gallagher Memorial Park in Mountcharles.

This was Donegal's third game of the championship.

To date, they've won two and lost one.

Donegal are going for a three-in-a-row of All-Ireland Masters shield titles, having won the shield final in the previous two years.

Sligo are still looking for their first win in this year's championship having lost their opening two games to London and Mayo respectively.

Leitrim-Longford are in action on Thursday evening when they take on Westmeath in Mullingar at 7:45pm.
