Donegal's hurlers have made a winning start to their Allianz Hurling League Division 2B campaign following a 3-16 to 0-8 victory over London at O'Donnell Park in Letterkenny.
The Donegal full foward line was a constant thorn for their opponents with Josh Connolly helping himself to a goal and a point, Richie Ryan registering two goals and seven points while Setanta's Davin Flynn raised the white flag on six separate occasions (all from play).
Mickey McCann's charges can be satisfied with their afternoon's work and will travel to Markievicz Park next Sunday to face Sligo, while London host Mayo at McGovern on the same afternoon.
Elsewhere, Leitrim defeated Lancashire in Division 3B at Abbotstown. Alan O'Shea stood in to manage the team in the absence of Olcan Conway and oversaw the victory.
Leitrim must now wait two weeks before their next game where they host Cavan at Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada on Saturday, February 26th at 2pm.
