Donegal made a winning start to their Gaelic Masters Championship campaign last night.
They beat the combined Leitrim-Longford team on a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-9 in Ballinamore.
Sligo open their campaign on Saturday when they face London in Swinford.
Meanwhile, the All-Ireland U21 C Hurling final between Sligo and Donegal will be the curtain-raiser to Saturday week’s football qualifier between Donegal and Galway at Markievicz Park.
The hurling will throw-in at 5pm.
