Donegal's new senior gaelic footballer manager can start planning for a trip to Newry next April in the opening round of the 2023 Ulster senior football championship.
Saturday's draw paired Donegal, the only Ulster county still to officially appoint a new bainisteoir, with the Mourne County who themselves have had a change of manager in the close season, with Conor Laverty taking over from James McCartan during the summer.
Kieran McGeeney's Armagh will play Antrim in the preliminary round game - with winners set to face Cavan in the quarter-finals.
The winners of that last eight match will face the winners of the Down-Donegal tussle.
