Donegal win darts West Coast Challenge

Donegal men's darts teams have won the prestigious West Coast Challenge for 2024.

The county's 'A' team beat Limerick in Saturday night's final, played at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon.

The Donegal youth 'B' team also performed admirably, winning their shield competition.

16 counties (including Sligo and Leitrim) featuring the country's best amateur players gathered for this weekend's event.

County Sligo were the defending men's champions from last year.

Here, the reached the quarter-finals before losing out to eventual finalists Limerick.

However, Donegal proved deserving winners this weekend, led by Ireland's number one ranked amateur player, Adrian Divine.

Cavan won the  main women's title for 2024 - the Donegal women's team were narrowly beaten by Mayo in the Shield decider.
