Donegal's Chloe Magee has been appointed as Badminton Ireland's first Women in Sport and National Development Manager.
The Raphoe woman, who's a three-time Olympian for Ireland (2008, 2012 & 2016), will help promote gender equality across the sport in Ireland by placing women and girls at the heart of grassroots and high-performance development.
Magee first joined Badminton Ireland in 2022.
She played a critical role in the development of Badminton in Ulster as an Ulster Activation Officer.
This new appointment has been welcomed by fellow Donegal woman, Nora Stapleton, who is Director of Strategic NGB Programmes and Women in Sport Lead with Sport Ireland.
Stapleton said: "As well as being a role model for so many across the badminton community, Chloe can now share her passion and use her exceptional experience to put pathways and structures in place to enable so many more to play and thrive in the sport she loves."
