Donegal Town's Kate Keaney has taken up a new role with the United States women's soccer teams.
Keaney joins the current World Cup champions as a Sports Scientist following a three-year term with Vera Pauw's Republic of Ireland in a similar role, Donegal Live reports.
Through her employment with StatSports, Keaney became the designated the Newry-based company's representative in a squad which included fellow Tír Chonaill natives Roma McLaughlin, Ciara Grant and Amber Barrett.
The former Donegal Ladies senior footballer will be based at the United States Soccer Federation headquarters in Chicago.

Keaney comes from a strong sporting family and is the sister of former Donegal GAA player Luke and former Sligo Rovers and current UCD captain Jack.
