Hugh Donnelly has been appointed as the new manager of the Leitrim senior ladies football manager after being ratified at a county board meeting last night.
The Tyrone man succeeds Danny Clarke, who was in interim charge of the team for most of last season, guiding Leitrim to a championship relegation play-off victory which preserved the team's intermediate championship status for next year.
Donnelly will bring a wealth of inter-county experience to the role having previously worked with the Donegal, Cavan and Tyrone county sides.
His new team will operate in Division 4 of the ladies NFL next year.
