Drumcliffe/Rosses Point women's gaelic footballers lifted the Sligo Connacht Gold junior 'A' football title on Saturday with an impressive 2-14 to 0-5 victory over Shamrock Gaels at Kent Park.
The game was moved from its original venue of Markievicz Park following concerns about its ability to host so many county finals this weekend (two on Saturday and two on Sunday) given the weather conditions.
Keela Scanlon and Maeve Casserly both scored 1-2 in Saturday's junior final as the north Sligo club emerged convincing winners.
