Dunboyne native Niall Cornyn was the winner of Sunday's Hazelwood Triathlon.
The Meath man finished over five minutes clear of second in a time of 02:00:20.
It was the first time Cornyn raced in the Hazelwood Triathlon who has an uncle living in the area.

Wicklow Triathlon Club's Emma O'Brien was the first woman home, finishing 8th overall recording a time of 02:14:29.
Sligo Triathlon Club was well represented in Sunday's event with Trevor Hunter leading the home contingent finishing in 34th place.
