Easkey's hurlers are celebrating a fifth consecutive Sligo Davis/Yeats Tavern senior hurling championship title following Saturday night's 0-15 to 0-12 win over rivals Naomh Eoin under the lights of Enniscrone.
The Sea Blues, managed this year by former Sligo county boss Padraig Mannion, had been boosted by the return in recent weeks of Andy Kilcullen, following his travels in Australia.
He was Easkey's top scorer on Saturday night with seven points - but alongside him in the full forward line, Fionn Connolly turned in a Player of the Match performance.
However, they were pushed hard by a Naomh Eoin side, which once again included five O'Kelly-Lynch brothers in their starting fifteen - and there was little between the teams for much of the 60+ minutes.
Easkey's five-in-a-row has also included a run to the All-Ireland junior hurling final in 2023 - and as reigning Connacht champions, they'll now turn their attention towards another potential provincial championship run.
