Sligo Rovers goalkeeper Ed McGinty has confirmed his departure from the Showgrounds after a season-long loan from English Championship side Oxford United.
McGinty posted on social media on Wednesday night that his time with Rovers has come to an end.

The Scot, who was Rovers Player of the Season in 2024, had reportedly returned to his parent club at the end of last season.
However, McGinty has been attracting interest from other clubs in recent weeks with Shamrock Rovers reportedly particularly keen to secure his services ahead of the new season.
