Leitrim's Emlyn Mulligan has confirmed he is retiring from inter-county football.
In a brief statement on Twitter, Mulligan said that due to past injuries, his body cannot keep up with the demands expected at inter-county level.
Mulligan first joined the Leitrim panel in 2006, and was part of the squad right up until the conclusion of this year's National Football League, where he was an unused substitute in the defeat to Sligo.
