Entries for the 2024 Connollys Audi West of Ireland Amateur Golf Championship opened on Thursday, February 1st.
One of the signature events on the Irish golfing calendar, this year's West will take place over the Easter Weekend, March 29th-April 2nd at Co Sligo Golf Club
The championship is reverting this year to its traditional format of two rounds of qualifying strokeplay - followed by the top 64 players contesting the matchplay stages from Easter Sunday onwards.
Last year's winner James Claridge (England) won't be returning to Rosses Point to defend his title - as he's likely to be involved with England international team on the same weekend.
