Sligo Rovers moved back out of the relegation zone thanks to a nervy 1-0 win over Bohemians at the Showgrounds on Saturday.
The Bit O’ Red moved above Galway United, after the Tribesmen were held to a 3-3 draw away to Bray, despite Sligo native Kevin Devaney scoring twice.
Vinny Faherty got the only goal of the game at the Showgrounds, while former Rovers midfielder Keith Ward was sent-off in the opening half.
Faherty says the important thing is that Rovers’ fate is back in their own hands…
