Fenagh/St Caillin's clinched the Leitrim Masonite senior football league Division 1 title for 2023 with a spirited extra-time victory over county champions St Mary's in Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday evening.
The Fenagh men won on a final scoreline of 2-12 to 2-10.
These clubs played out a thrilling senior championship semi-final last year, which St Mary's eventually won on penalty kicks.
This time around however, Fenagh/St Caillin's had the upper hand.
The sides finished level at the end of normal time, 1-10 to 2-7.
In second period of extra-time, a goal from county captain Donal Wyrnn proved to be the key score for Fenagh/St Caillin's as they eventually ran out two-point winners.
