Finn Harps' home game on Friday against UCD has been moved to a 5pm kick off, following a floodlights system failure in Finn Park.
In a statement released by the club last night, Harps confirmed they would have to move the kick off after the floodlights failed a regulatory test.
The floodlights have been a bone of contention in Finn Park for some time now, and its not the first time schedules have been disrupted as a result.
In the statement, Harps confirm that they were waiting for parts for the lights to arrive in the off season, which were subsequently delayed. Those parts arrived this week, but were the wrong parts.
The statement also acknowledges the increasing difficulty Harps face in meeting licencing criteria each year due to the condition of Finn Park, and apologised to fans for inconvenience caused.
