Five sent off as Owenmore Gaels win Sligo under 21 final replay

Owenmore Gaels won Wednesday evening's Sligo under 21 'B' football final replay with a 2-14 to 1-8 win against Castleconnor at Scarden.

The Gaels produced a much-improved display from the drawn game which had seen the sides finish level at 1-14 each two weeks ago.

However, there was an ill-tempered finish to the replay with match referee John Gilmartin issuing no less than five red cards in the closing moments following a player melee involving several players.
