Former Sligo Rovers striker Max Mata has joined A-League side Auckland FC on loan for the 2024/25 campaign.
Mata was The Bit O'Red's top scorer in the 2023 season scoring 11 goals before departing for Shrewsbury Town in July.
The Kiwi returned to The Showgrounds on loan in February scoring four goals in 14 appearances.
A New Zealand international, Mata joins the newly-formed club ahead of the Australian A-League season which begins in October.
