There was no Donegal LGFA Division 3 league titlefor Four Masters on Sunday as opponents Robert Emmets ran out 2-7 to 0-7 winners in the league decider, played at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey.
Emmets led at the end of a low-scoring first half by 0-5 to 0-2 - but two second-half goals gave them a bit of breathing space in the second 30 minutes as they emerged victors by six points.
Despite the loss, the Donegal Town girls will have consolation of securing promotion to Division 2 for next season.
