Sligo's Olympic bronze medallist Mona McSharry, who's home from her travels for a Christmas break, was was a special guest at the Samuel Beckett International French High School in Dublin, where the school renamed its gymnasium, the 'Gymnase Mona McSharry'.
The Lycée français International Samuel Beckett is part of an Agency for French Education Abroad, renamed the school gym in honour of McSharry's Olympic bronze medal at the Paris Games last July.

McSharry was at the Foxrock venue for the official unveiling of the plaque in her honour.
