The GAA has postponed next week's planned draws for the provincial football and hurling championships.
As Covid-19 numbers remain high and no return to inter-county training date set, there is a reluctance among GAA officials especially at provincial level to announce who will be facing who at the start of this year’s Championship.
No new date for the draw has been made yet.
For the second year running, it looks like New York will not be involved in the Connacht senior football championship, meaning Roscommon, who were due to travel there this year, are in line to receive a quarter-final bye.
Mayo, whose turn it is to make the trip to Ruislip, could go straight into the semi-finals if the Connacht Council chooses not to allow London to take part for Covid reasons. However, that decision hasn't been made yet.
There are indications that Croke Park is making plans to start the national league on the last weekend in March.
It would be a shortened league, with the four divisions of eight teams divided regionally into north-south groups - as was already mooted before Christmas.
This would see Donegal in Division 1 north with Armagh, Tyrone and Monaghan.
Sligo and Leitrim would be together in Division 4 north alongside Antrim Louth.
The round robin and play-off matches would be run off over five weekends. There would then be a week's break before the 2021 championship begins.
