Next Sunday's Connacht LGFA intermediate club football final will be a Sligo-Leitrim following thrilling semi-final victories for Geevagh of Sligo and Leitrim champions Glencar/Manorhamilton in their respective semi-finals.
Geevagh beat Naomh Eanna of Leitir Mór in Galway by 2-10 to 2-7.
It will be their first Connacht club final appearance since they won the title back in 2006.
The victory means there will be three Sligo clubs contesting Connacht finals next weekend - St Nathy's (senior) and Eoghan Rua (junior) being the other two.
An elated team captain Sarah Reynolds spoke to Ocean FM Sport's Cathal Mullaney after the win, which was played in very testing weather conditions:
In Drumshanbo, new Leitrim senior champions Glencar/Manor reached their first ever provincial club final in adult ladies football as they produced a spirited 2-15 to 3-9 win against Kilmovee Shamrocks of Mayo.
The intermediate final will be played at the same venue, Shane McGettigan Park in Drumshanbo, next Sunday (Oct 11th) at 2:30pm.
