Sligo's newest professional boxer, Aaron Gethins, will have his debut pro bout televised live by TG4 on Friday, December 7th.
He will fight on the undercard of the Ray Moylette bill in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar against a Croatian opponent.
18-year-old Gethins nad fellow Sligo man James Lynch recently joined the pro-ranks and are being managed by well-known Dublin veteran trainer Tony Davitt.
Gethins is a three-time Irish underage champion and represented the country at the 2015 European Junior Championships, reaching the quarter-finals.
