Glencar/Manorhamilton women's gaelic footballers made history on Saturday at Markeivicz Park when they beat Geevagh of Sligo to clinch a first ever Connacht Club intermediate football title, on a final scoreline of 3-15 to 1-12.
This was the 2020 provincial decider, which was never played last year because of the pandemic.

It was a hugely impressive display by the north Leitrim girls, whose attacking flair and intensity were crucial to the win.
Geevagh battled gamely throughout but, on the day, were second best to the Glencar/Manor girls.
