There was double success for North Leitrim clubs on Sunday when Glencar/Manorhamilton won their first-ever Leitrim senior football championship title, following an emphatic 5-19 to 1-9 win against Seán O'Heslin's in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Player of the Match Ailbhe Clancy reflected on the 'team ethic' which helped deliver their inaugural county title. She spoke to Ocean FM Sport's PJ Leddy:
That was followed a couple of hours later by a dramatic win for Drumkeerin ladies, as they edged past Fenagh/St Caillin's in junior decider in Leitrim village, winning on a final score of 3-12 to 3-10 after extra time.
However, there was disappointment for Dromahair in Saturday's intermediate final as they were well beaten by Mohill.
