Sligo minor gaelic footballers are through to the Connacht final following a gutsy 1-9 to 1-7 win against Mayo at the province's GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan on Sunday.
Adam Gallagher's goal just before half-time proved invaluable as Sligo's intensity was eventually rewarded with a two-point victory.

Sligo now prepare to take on Roscommon in the Connacht minor final on the weekend of January 9/10th.
Roscommon beat Galway in the weekend's other semi-final by 2-13 to 0-11.
