It was a tough day for both the Sligo and Leitrim senior ladies sides who both suffered heavy championship defeats.
Looking to bounce back from their heavy loss to Laois, Sligo suffered a similar fate against Kildare.
Kildare ran out 5-13 to 0-4 winners in Kinnegad.
Leitrim were also beaten heavily by Leinster opposition.

They managed more scores than Sligo, but it was still not near enough as Meath beat them on a scoreline of 5-18 to 0-10.
