Sligo under-20 gaelic footballers produced a high quality hour of football at windy Bekan on Wednesday to overwhelm Mayo by 0-17 to 1-9 and deservedly reach a second consecutive Connacht final.
The champions of 12 months ago have now beaten Roscommon in Roscommon, and Mayo in Mayo, to reach next Wednesday's provincial decider, which will be against Galway in Tuam Stadium (7pm).
Sligo led by 0-9 to 1-4 at half-time thanks to excellent scores from Matt Henry, Luke Marren and Rossa Sloyan - and they continued that momentum in the second-half their backs showing excellent composure and team captain Canice Mulligan leading by example at midfield.
