Sligo Rowing Club'[s Sarah Walsh has been selected to compete in the green of Ireland at the Coupe de la Juenesse in Racicè in the Czech Republic later this month.
Walsh will compete in junior women's quad event.
The competition runs runs from August 9-11th.
The Coupe de la Juenesses is a prestigious event held each year for junior rowers from around Europe in an event that showcases the up and coming stars of international rowing.

Walsh's journey began at national trials in September 2023 at the National Rowing Centre based on Inniscara Lake in Cork.
Sarah has been based in Cork for the past five weeks on a training camp along with her crew of Sophia Young, Sibeál Ni Fhlaithbeartaigh and Louise Forrester
