IT Sligo's women through to colleges final

IT Sligo’s senior women’s team are through to the Lydon Plate final at the Women’s Intervarsities in Limerick.

Catherine Hyndman, Rachel Kearns and Amber Lynch got the goals in a 3-1 defeat of hosts UL.

They will now face Maynooth University in tomorrow’s final after they defeated NUI Galway 4-3 in the second semi-final.

Letterkenny IT are also throw to a final.

They beat IT Blanchardstown 8-2 in the O’Regan Shield semi-final, and will face Garda College in tomorrow’s decider.
