Sligo LGFA has confirmed Jacqui Mulligan as the new captain of the Sligo ladies gaelic football team for the 2019.
The St Farnan's clubwoman succeeds Noelle Gormley in the role.
Mulligan made her intercounty debut for Sligo 19 seasons ago, and returns now to lead the team into their Lidl national football league division 3 campaign.
Sligo's opening match will be at home to Meath on Saturday, Feb 2nd, in Cloonacool at 2pm. The south Sligo venue will stage all of Sligo ladies home league games.
