Karl Lacey has been appointed as the new Donegal under-16 county football manager for the 2025 season.
His new role was confirmed at Monday night's county board meeting in Convoy.
It marks a significant return to the county set-up for 2012 All-Ireland winner.
Lacey hasn't been involved with Donegal GAA since stepping down from his role as Head of Academy two years ago, citing a lack of support from county officials at the time.
Since then, he's been managing Kilcoo in Down - and stepped down from his role there just last month.
Martin McHugh had agreed to take temporary charge of the under-16 panel for the initial period this year - but Lacey will now assume the bainisteoir's bib with this age group for the year ahead.
The Four Masters clubman's return will be reviewed as another significant boost for Donegal GAA.
