Kilcoo's bid to regain the Ulster senior club football title was ended in Armagh on Sunday by Errigal Chiarán of Tyrone as the lifted the Seamus McFerran Cup for 2024 with an exciting 1-8 to 0-10 victory.
The sides were level seven times in a tight and tense encounter at the Athletic Grounds with Kilcoo, managed by Donegal's Karl Lacey, reduced to 14 men midway through the second half when Darryl Branagan was shown a straight red card.
Joe Oguz's early goal gave Errigal Ciaran a dream start, and while Brangan's dismissal was a blow for Kilcoo, the Magpies held on until Peter McCartan's decisive long-range score deep into injury time.
It's Errigal's first Ulster club title since 2002.
