Donegal GAA have confirmed the re-appointment of Karl Lacey as head of the county's Academy.
The Four Masters clubman will operate as county performance lead - as he returns to the GAA Centre of Excellence in Convoy two years after stepping down as Head of Academy, citing a lack of support from some county officials at the time.
Thursday's statement from Donegal GAA said the 2012 All-Ireland winner would lead out on the delivery of the National Strategy to improve the quality, coherence and consistency of player and coach development within the county.
Lacey's return to the Academy comes just days after he was ratified as the new Donegal under-16 football manager for the 2025 season.
