Donegal's senior representatives in the All-Ireland Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta finals, Kilcar, ensured there would be at least one Donegal winner over Cork on Saturday, by reaching the semi-finals of the flagship gaeltacht championship.
They beat Ballingeary in Saturday evening's quarter-final with a 2-18 to 2-13 victory in Cork.
The Towney men and Ballingeary were level at half-time (1-9 to 2-6) but Kilcar pulled clear in the second-half fo eventually win by five points.
They play their semi-final on Sunday evening against Cill na Martra.
