Ocean FM Sport will provide live commentary of Leitrim's opening Connacht FBD knockout match against Mayo this Sunday (January 6th) in Avantcard Páirc Seán MacDiarmada in Carrick-on-Shannon from half-past-one.
Leitrim supporters will be able to access first half commentary on oceanfm.ie. John Lynch and former Leitrim footballer Aidan Rooney will be on the commentary mics. The second-half will be live on 102.5fm from 2:05pm on Sunday.
The Connacht FDD competition is changing from a league to knockout format in 2019. The winners of the Leitrim-Mayo clash will play Galway in a semi-final. Anthony Cunningham's Roscommon will play Paul Taylor's Sligo in the other semi-final on Sunday, January 13th, at Dr Hyde Park.
Meanwhile, Donegal's McKenna Cup trip to Newry to play Down in Section A will also be covered live. Paddy McGill and former Down All-Star footballer Danny Hughes will provide the commentary from Pairc Esler. The first half will be live on oceanfm.ie from 1:30pm with second-half commentary available on our 94.7 and 105fm frequencies.
