Leitrim supporter Liam O'Neill set off from Drumkeerin in the early hours of Sunday morning and walked 50 miles in the one day, arriving at at Aughawillan GAA pitch on Sunday afternoon for the women's national league game.
He completed the feat as part of the 50 Miles in January Challenge, and spoke to Ocean FM Sport's PJ Leddy.
The 50 miles in January Challenge is a joint fundraising initiative by Leitrim GAA and Leitrim LGFA to raise funds for the development of the county's football and hurling teams.
