Leitrim women's gaelic footballers completed their All-Ireland intermediate football championship group campaign with a narrow loss to Wexford in Enniscorthy on Sunday - on a final scoreline of Wexford 3-10 Leitrim 2-11.
The result means Leitrim have finished bottom of Group A - but they won't face any relegation play-off by virtue of the fact that provincial champions this year are exempt from any relegation play-off.
Wexford qualify for the All-Ireland quarter-finals as Group winners - and they will be joined by Wicklow who beat Offaly in the other group game on Sunday by 4-7 to 1-11.
Sligo, who finished bottom of Group D, are preparing for a relegation play-off against Down in two weeks time.
Laois have finished top of Sligo's group - Group D - after a five-point win over Ulster champions Tyrone on Sunday.
