Leitrim's Bernie Kilkenny landed the biggest catch of his angling career on Sunday when he won the World Fly Angling Championship at Lough Mask in county Mayo.
The Rossinver native, who lives in Manorhamilton, is a member of the Rossinver Melvin angling club. He was presented with the World Cup Trout Fly Angling Perpetual Cup by the Lough Mask festival committee.
