Leitrim collected three more points in Division 4 of the Lidl national football league game on Sunday with a 1-11 to 3-4 over Wicklow in their re-arranged fixture, played in Wicklow town.
The game was postponed a fortnight ago because of an unplayable surface at the original venue,Blessington - which meant Leitrim had to make another journey to the Garden county this weekend.
Jonny Garrity's side led by nine points at one stage in this game - but they were holding on in the end as Wicklow came right back at them in the closing stages.
Ailbhe Clancy, who was named the overall Leitrim Sports Star of the Year for 2024, was among the scorers on Sunday.
