Leitrim manager Andy Moran admitted his side were gutted following Sunday's dramatic 2-14 to 1-16 loss to Carlow in Division 4 of theAllianz Football League, at Netwatch Cullen Park.
Leitrim appeared to be closing in on a hard-earning victory, until they were reduced to 14 players following a red card for Conor Reynolds.
Carlow capitalised on the extra to score a superb late goal from Colm Hulton and win by one.
