Leitrim lose unbeaten record, Sligo pipped by Down

Leitrim women's gaelic footballers lost their unbeaten record in Division 4 of the Lidl national football league as they went down to Fermanagh in Donagh, on a final scoreline of 1-9 to 0-9.

Eimear Smyth's first-half goal for the home side would prove to be the key score - and the victory takes CJ McGourty's Erneside team top of the table.

Jonny Garrity's Leitrim drop to second in the table.

In Division 3, Sligo were pipped by last year's All-Ireland junior champions Down by a single point in Keash, on a final scoreline of 1-10 to 1-9.
