Leitrim minor gaelic footballers suffered their second loss in the Connacht minor football championship on Friday night, losing to Roscommon in Ballinamore on a final scoreline of 2-15 to 1-9.

In the evening's other game in Tuam, Mayo had too much firepower for Galway, winning by 2-13 to 1-6.
The Connacht minor football championship is being played on a round-robin basis, with the top three counties at the end of the group phase qualifying for the knockout stages.
Mayo (4pts), Roscommon (4pts) and Sligo (3pts) currently occupy the top three positions.
