Leitrim earned their second win of this year's Allianz National Football League with a seven-point victory over Waterford at Fraher Field on Sunday afternoon.
Mohill's Keith Beirne was in imperious scoring form once again, helping himself to 12 points for the victors.
Leitrim, who held a 10 points to eight lead at the interval saw that margin erased at the start of the second half as Darragh Corcoran gave the Déise a one-point lead.
However, points from Beirne and vital goals from Tom Prior and Darragh Rooney propelled Leitrim to victory and keep their promotion hopes alive.
Leitrim have another long trip ahead of them in Round Five when Andy Moran's side face Carlow at Netwatch Cullen Park.
