Leitrim suffer another Division 3 trouncing

Leitrim suffered another heavy defeat in Division 3 of the national football league on Sunday, as they were overwhelmed by in-form Kildare, on a final scoreline of 1-27 to 0-7 in Ballinamore.

With the team seemingly destined for a swift return to Division 4, new Leitrim manager Steven Poacher gave his assessment to reporters after the game.
