Leitrim's Aine Tighe has suffered a third cruciate injury, which has been confirmed by her AFL Women's club, the Fremantle Dockers.
The club confirmed that she has ruptured her ACL in her right knee.
The Kiltubrid native made the move to the AFL in 2019, a time which has seen her sustain two previous ACL injuries in her left knee.
The injury occurred in the opening minutes of the first quarter, where Fremantle were playing Melbourne.
